2014 Significant Cases and Current Trends in Intellectual Property

Paul Hastings invites you to join us for an intellectual property lunch seminar led by U.S.-based Litigation partner Robert Masters, Global Vice-Chair of Intellectual Property.

Over the past several months, the United States Supreme Court has taken an unprecedented interest in intellectual property law. The impact of these Supreme Court cases as well as additional upcoming Federal Circuit decisions has the potential to change the landscape of U.S. intellectual property law.

Mr. Masters will review significant developments in the area of intellectual property in 2013 with a specific focus on what court cases to watch in 2014. The focus will take a look at significant Supreme Court and Federal Circuit cases pending and which cases to watch as each presents an important intellectual property issue for decision. In addition, Mr. Masters will highlight some of the developing market trends and key legislation in intellectual property, and answer any questions you may have.

지난 수 개월간 미국 연방대법원은 지적재산권법에 대해 전례없이 높은 관심을 보여왔습니다. 연방대법원의 최근 판결과 앞으로 내려질 연방항소법원의 판결은 향후 미국 지적재산권법의 구도를 변화시킬 가능성을 가지고 있습니다.

이에 Masters 미국변호사는 2013년의 주요한 케이스들과 판결들을 검토하고 2014년 주목할 만한 케이스들에 대해 논의할 예정입니다. 특히 연방대법원과 연방항소법원의 판결에 중요한 영향을 끼치는 이슈들을 통해 현재 진행중인 케이스들을 검토할 예정입니다. 또한 지적재산권법 분야의 최근 동향과 주목할 만한 관련 법에 대해서도 논의할 예정입니다.
