세미나 개요
Developing and Financing Renewable Energy Projects - Master class on key concepts and contractual issues
Renewable energy is a hotly anticipated market with governments, regulators, utilities, financiers and contractors focusing on it in recent times. The number of projects being brought to market is growing but developing and financing renewable energy projects in Asian and western markets present unique challenges.
DLA Piper partners from Asia-Pacific and the US will present on some of these challenges, including the importance of appropriate regulatory support, the project document risk allocation, and the early identification of your financing strategy. In doing so, DLA will introduce the fundamentals of renewable energy projects including common project structures and key stakeholders / project participants. We will also: (a) outline the key project and finance documents associated with such a project; (b) delve into some of the specialist renewable energy issues in power purchase agreements, EPC contracts and O&M contracts; and (c) outline some of the key financing issues associated with these projects, including those associated with the finance document covenant package and financier tripartite deeds.
