DLA Piper 서울 사무소는 미국의 기본적인 사모 펀드 규제 관련 주요 법률 및 신기술이나 새로운 시장 확대를 위해 미국 대기업들이 사모펀드에 투자하는 corporate venturing에 대해서 DLA Piper의 전문가로부터 들을 수 있는 

자리를 준비하였습니다.

Session 1 (1 hr.):  “Introduction to U.S. Private Fund Regulation”   Description:  This presentation will outline the major laws regulating private investment funds  in the U.S., including the rules related to offerings of interests therein and their operations  and the regulation private funds’ investment managers.   And,   Session 2 (1 hr.): “Corporate Venture Programs of U.S. Companies”   Description:  Corporate venturing – the practice of large companies investing in private funds, typically venture capital funds – to gain access to new technologies or acquisition targets, or  to gain knowledge of a market sector or geographic region has been growing. This  presentation will outline DLA Piper's observations of these arrangements, including examples  of corporate venture program objectives and how these objectives are pursued.

MCLE Information:

California: This activity has been approved for Minimum Continuing Legal Education credit by the State Bar of California in 

the amount of 2 hours in the General category. DLA Piper certifies that this activity conforms to the standards for approved 

education activities prescribed in the rules and regulations of the State Bar of California governing minimum continuing 

legal education.

 

New York: This nontransitional and transitional continuing legal education program has been approved in accordance with 

the requirements of the Continuing Legal Education Board for a maximum of 2.0 credit hours, of which 2.0 credit hours can 

be applied toward the Professional Practice requirement. Please note that CLE credit is available for newly admitted 

attorneys. 

 

New Jersey: This program has been approved by the Board on Continuing Legal Education of the Supreme Court of New 

Jersey for 2.4 hours of total CLE credit.  Of these, 2.4 qualify as hours of credit toward the General category. 

 

CLE credit will be applied for in other states where DLA Piper has an office except in Minnesota, North Carolina, 

and Pennsylvania.
