The last two decades saw widespread adoption of competition laws around the world, significant cooperation between competition authorities, and substantial convergence in core competition law principles and enforcement practices. Now, however, competition authorities worldwide confront mounting political pressures of populism, industrial policy, and protectionism, even as technological innovation present novel antitrust policy challenges.
Our panel will assess the implications for Korean companies of key trends in competition enforcement in Europe, the US, Greater China, and ASEAN.
